Niswander Environmental designed and constructed emergent and scrub-shrub wetland totalling 1.14 acres in 2017. The site was monitored and managed for a period of 5 years. The wetland mitigation serves to offset wetland impacts from a residential development, and provides floodwater storage for a nearby creek, stormwater storage, nutrient update, and filters pollutants for the surrounding neighborhood.
