Niswander Environmental offers environmental solutions for municipalities, non-profit organizations, developers, and transportation agencies. Niswander Environmental is the largest mitigation banker in Michigan and can provide wetland mitigation solutions for any project. Niswander Environmental’s staff bring over 100 years of combined professional experience, including work in the academic, public sector, and consultant arenas.

Our staff specializes in ecological assessments, wetland mitigation design, invasive species management, mitigation monitoring, natural features inventories, T&E surveys, site planning, wetland delineations, permitting, stream restoration, and construction services. Niswander Environmental has the expertise needed to lead you through the often confusing myriad of environmental regulatory laws and requirements. In addition to designing and permitting projects, we also serve as contractors that build our projects in the real world. This level of service gives us a unique perspective and an enlightened ability to provide solutions to the most complex environmental problems. Our problem solving abilities separate us from our competitors. We consistently are able to accurately identify our customer’s needs and develop and implement cost effective, innovative solutions that are realistic. Since we frequently identify solutions to seemingly “dead-end” projects by thinking outside the box, we are becoming known as the firm to call when faced with complex ecological and site planning issues.
