Invasive Species Control – Wayne County Grow Zone
Assessed restoration potential, recommended priority of restoration activities, and identified recommendations for a long-term invasive species management plan for 20 selected Wayne County Grow Zone sites totaling approximately 35 acres.
Invasive Species Control – The Nature Conservancy
Controlled and mapped the treatment of approximately 800 acres of invasive Phragmites along the shores of Lake Erie on a combination of public and private lands.

Implemented a long-term, multi-year aggressive invasive species management plan within a subdivision to control Phragmites.
Stream Restoration – Mallett’s Creek and County Farm Drain
Provided assessments and recommendations for increasing the stability of Mallet’s Creek and ultimately improving water quality in the watershed.
Smallenburg Park Urban Stormwater Demonstration Project
Designed and constructed four rain garden areas to improve water quality and create an aesthetically pleasing environment.
Card Road Wetland Services
Project included a wetland delineation, permitting, wetland mitigation design, and threatened and endangered species surveys (bat and mussel).
Northville Psychiatric Hospital Ecological Assessment
Inventoried all wetlands, streams, and woodlands on approximately 500 acres.
Meadowlake Farms Bioswale Project
Constructed a bioswale to slow stormwater flow velocities.
Macatawa Watershed Water Quality Demonstration Sites
Designed and implemented 2 Best Management Practices (BMP) demonstration sites for water quality improvement in the Macatawa watershed in 2007.
Long Lake Township Natural Features Inventory
Conducted a Natural Features Inventory to identify existing natural features and provide a baseline data set to be used for future land use planning.
